Tracy J. Jones
Tracy J. Jones is an associate with the firm of Nicholas & Tomasevic, LLP. Ms. Jones was admitted to the California Bar in June of 2009. Prior to being admitted to the Bar, she received significant experience clerking for Nicholas & Butler, LLP on cases concerning construction defects, employment, business, and insurance matters.
Ms. Jones received her Juris Doctor in 2008 from California Western School of Law. She was on the Dean’s List in 2007 and 2008. While in law school, Ms. Jones was a member of the Moot Court Honors Board and was the winner of the Lynch Appellate Competition. She was also a paid research assistant for Professor Ruben J. Garcia and researched and wrote on such topics as employment law regarding whistleblower retaliation and democratic participation in the judicial system through the use of amicus briefs.
Ms. Jones graduated from the University of Kansas, Phi Beta Kappa and is a life member of the University of Kansas Alumni Association. She also enjoys rooting for Jayhawk Basketball.
Ms. Jones is a member of the San Diego County Bar Association.
Ms. Jones is admitted to practice before all California state courts and the United States District Courts for the Southern Districts of California.
